As women, we often find ourselves navigating a world that tries to define us based on external expectations and superficial standards. But what if I told you that your identity is far greater than anything this world could ever label you? Your identity comes from the One who created you.
Do you know that your purpose is found in your identity? This statement is so powerful because it reminds us that our worth isn't determined by what others think of us or even by our circumstances. Instead, it is grounded in the truth of who we are as Kingdom citizens—children of the Most High God.
When we understand our identity as daughters of the King, it shifts how we see ourselves and the world around us. But it’s not just about knowing that we are loved and chosen. It’s about embracing the mindset of a Kingdom citizen and learning to think according to God's will, not the patterns of this world.
The truth is, the way we think shapes the way we live. Proverbs 23:7 tells us, "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Our thoughts have the power to shape our reality, which is why it’s so important to elevate and transform them. If we continue to think in the same way we always have, we will remain stuck in the same patterns. But when we renew our minds and align them with the Kingdom’s principles, we begin to see ourselves and the world through God’s eyes, and that’s when true transformation happens.
Why Is It Important to Change Our Thinking?
Changing the way we think is essential because it is the first step in elevating our lives. As Kingdom citizens, we are not meant to live according to the world’s standards of success, beauty, or achievement. Instead, we are called to think and live according to the values of God’s Kingdom—values like love, peace, faith, joy, and purpose.
When we elevate our thinking, we also elevate our lives. We begin to see opportunities where we once saw limitations. We start to believe that our dreams are within reach because we are not limited by the world’s definitions of what’s possible. We realize that we are equipped to overcome any challenge because we are heirs to the Kingdom.
This shift in thinking isn’t always easy. It requires us to unlearn old habits and mindsets that no longer serve us. It calls for intentionality, prayer, and the constant renewal of our minds. But the beauty is, the more we align our thinking with God's will, the more we begin to reflect His glory in every area of our lives.
Elevate Your Thinking, Elevate Your Life
At Saved Girl, we believe that true empowerment comes from discovering your value, purpose, and identity in Christ. When you understand who you are as a Kingdom citizen, you gain the confidence to pursue your dreams, stand tall in your worth, and walk in the fullness of your purpose.
So, how do we elevate our thinking? We begin by letting go of the lies we’ve believed about ourselves—the lies that tell us we’re not enough, that we have to work harder to earn love, or that our past mistakes define us. Instead, we embrace the truth of who we are in Christ. We renew our minds with His Word and allow His truth to shape the way we see ourselves and the world.
Remember, you are not what the world says you are. You are not defined by your past, your struggles, or your failures. You are a daughter of the Most High God, designed with a purpose and destiny that no one can take away. When you elevate your thinking and live in alignment with your true identity, you become unstoppable.
